Europe has the highest share in installed photovoltaic power (75%) with Germany and Italy being the major players (54% globally).
However, the interest now is shifted to other countries where demand is growing and is expected to be higher than EU in the coming years.
The countries where the highest pv growth is expected are: China, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East and North African countries.
